Now Recruiting for Upcoming Elections

Nine in 15 targets open seats in upcoming elections to boost women’s representation in local public office.   Then we encourage women who will be strong candidates to run for those seats.

Join a Search Party

Now is the time to identify potential candidates and help them prepare for 2019 elections. Join others for a focused search in your area.  See below for some of the seats in Duval County whose current occupants will term out in two years.

Other officials throughout Duval County will term out in upcoming elections, and some officeholders may choose to bow out, creating even more opportunities for women to seek office (See Open Seats drop-down menu above.)  For information about elections throughout Duval County, including key dates as available, see Supervisor of Elections.

Interested in running yourself or encouraging someone you know to enter a race?  As a first step, see Nine in 15’s Self-Assessment Guide.
